Today, computer graphics has a significant place in the world. Animated films have replaced the former cartoons, architectural designs are done on computers; there are also flight simulations and virtual reality.
But how it all began - since when does a history of computer graphics exist? What kind of software is currently used for computer graphics? Which programming languages can be used for modelling 3D world? How to make animated films? What is rendering? What is Java 3D and for what is it used? Why is the model of the solar system chosen? How would we represent the solar system in Java 3D?
