Munkahely: Department of Ecology, Department of Medical Physics and Informatics, University of Szeged
Végzettség:

környezetkutató / environmental scientist

Önéletrajz:

Környezettudományi szakon végzett 2010-ben, jelenleg PhD hallgató a Szegedi Tudományegyetem Környezettudományi Doktori Iskolájában. Fő érdeklődési köre az általános ökológia és annak matematikai vonatkozásai. Tanulmányai jelenleg a számítógépes alkalmazások, ökológiai modellek és gyakorlati alkalmazásaik megismerésének irányában folynak. Szívügye a természetvédelem, a természettudományok népszerűsítése.

I hold a Master's Degree in Environmental Sciences since 2010. Currently I am a PhD student at University of Szeged. My research interests are in theoretical ecology, especially spatial ecology and mathematical modeling. At present I deal with the spatial dispersal of a parasitic plant, Cuscuta campestris. Our goal is to detect the most important factors, determining the host finding and the orientation of dispersal. The most prefered tools in the investigation are two-dimensional spatially explicit models, such as cellular automata and other types of computer-aided simulations.
