Rövid bemutatkozás

Karsai János matematikusként végzett az SZTE-n (JATE) 1981-ben. Gyógyszerészek, biológusok számára biomatematikát, matematika szakosoknak, mérnököknek a számítógéppel segített matematikai modellezés alapjait tanítja Szegeden és Berlinben. Alkalmazott matematikával, rezgésekkel, epidemiológiai és populációdinamikai modellek számítógéppel segített vizsgálatával foglalkozik. Szívügye a matematika oktatásának korszerűsítése, a matematika megszerettetése, különös tekintettel az alkalmazókra. Kurzusai számára számos interaktív oktatóanyagot készített a Mathematica rendszerben. A Mathematica szoftverrel 1994 óta foglalkozik.

A short introduction

János Karsai graduated at University of Szeged as mathematician in 1981. He has been using Mathematica since 1994. He teaches Mathematics and Mathematica-Aided Modeling to Math, Pharmacy, Biology and Engeneering students in Szeged and Berlin, and has given several Mathematica courses in Hungary, Czech Republic, Serbia and Romania. He does research in Applied Mathematics, deals with nonlinear oscillations, biomathematical models, and impulsive systems. In addition, he works on modernizing the mathematical education, especially in applied sciences. He has developed several teaching materials in Mathematica for his courses.
