Ismertető:

Computers use semiconductors, chips, the data is digitally recorded on discs and similar media.
What makes chips efficient? What should be prepared, calculated before the chip is made?
The answers are in a mathematical field that handles sequences of zeros and ones, called Boolean logic. It is a simple accounting based on addition and multiplication of numbers 0 and 1.  With increasing speed of computers how errors could be reduced? Engineering offers innovation and improvements are achieved as a suitable combination of Boolean functions. In this lecture mathematics behind the chip will be presented and shown to be modern, simple and powerful.
