International Autumn School for Graduate and PhD students
Partial Differential Equations: Theory and Numerical Methods
16-19 October, 2014, Novi Sad
Audience: We welcome PhD and graduate students, in mathematics or other sciences.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with graduate-level knowledge of ordinary (ODE) and partial differential equations (PDE), as well as basic knowledge of Matlab is required. Programming ability is helpful but not mandatory.
Conditions:
- Participation is free, supported by the IPA HUSRB/1203/221/024 projects "Non-Standard Forms of Teaching Mathematics and Physics". Participants have to mention this support when the participation is referred.
- Participants receive electronic handouts
- Accommodation of dormitory level will be reserved. Due to limited possibilities to support accommodation, students from the HU-SRB cross-border region will be of higher priority.
- Travelling expenses are covered by the participants
