Foreword

Dear Reader!

Nowadays, computer visualization and modeling tools have become an organic part of science education. They help to find conjectures, illustrate problems, avoid tiresome and repetitive calculations and even they are used in mathematical proofs.

We believe that students can understand and explore Mathematics themselves by using computer applications. Experimental and visual study can help them to have deeper theoretical and applicable knowledge.

That is why we wrote and collected these electronic teaching materials. They concerns several fields of Mathematics and some of other sciences that students can meet during their studies such as Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, Geometry, Numerical Methods, Computer-aided modeling, Mathematical Writing, Math in Life Sciences, Biostatistics and even Medical Physics.

This collection includes 23 materials in English, Hungarian and Serbian giving a representation of the teaching activities of our team from the University of Szeged and the University of Novi Sad. Some of them are "static" or even dynamic  lecture presentations, lecture notes. We have also collected the problems of the tests of our courses in the last years.

We hope that our students will find this collection useful in both Hungary and Serbia, and also all over the world.
